16 clone grow log....
High summer temps have been kicking my ass. I have had probs up the butt, it sucks. So instead of giving up I am going to try and try again.
My first try in this new spot was an eight site eurogrower. Everything was fine til I went out of town for three days. While I was gone the power went out on my pumps. Needless to say the roots dried out and started to die. Well mixed with high temp water and dead roots the plants didn't flower for chit.
Same exact thing happened to me the second time I went out of town a month later. I go on vacation and have a good time to only come back to dead little ladies. So after my 4th of july good time I planted some female seeds I had and a couple of bag seeds.
The four easy bud females sprouted and one bagseed did as well. I transplanted over to the hydro unit and they started taking off. Two weeks pass and an emergency happens that I have no choice but to be away for two days again. I know sucks right! Anyway, I get back and the ph and temp levels were so nuts that one easy bud female completely died and the other three were suffering from root rot.
Strangely and oddly enough the one bag seed look like nothing was wrong with it. At first the bag seed was the runt and looked the weakest. Now a month later I am taking clones.
The first pic is the moms of the 20 clones I took. 10 each. The one on the left is the bag seed and the other is the easy bud female. I hope I don't end up fudged with a male from the bag seed but the characteristics of it are female so I have my fingers crossed.
From the 20 clones I am going to transplant after about two weeks of rooting to a 16 site drip/dwc that I am going to make from my panda res. Updates to come.

The 10 EB clones are already showing "the coliflower look" on their stems. (I'll post pics when the lights go back on.) The other ten not so much. 4 days is a personal best for me. I usually get the results I have after 5 days.
Is their any strain that can't be cloned? Can males be cloned? If anyone can answer that for me I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Don't let the pics fool you. The fan leaves are no wider than the length of the first joint of your thumb. I haven't really noticed a difference in root growth from cutting the fan leaves and not but by trimming them they don't overlap each others tips and get light. The last clones I took showed signs of rooting by day 5 and had roots by day 8. That was without trimming the tips. I guess we can see what happens with these.

So did they root faster for you then before? You have them under 1000w hps now? Don't you think thats a little much? I'm not questioning your ability just your method.
Are they on 18/6?

So far looking great!
What's that white-plastic thing you use there?
What's it called?
You're going to grow them all under the 1000W?
Cool!

Black and white poly plastic is what it is. Black on one side, white on the other. discount hydro . com. And yes each one of these clones will spend their FL time under 2000w of light. Yes 2k not 1k.

The ph on the clones is fluctuating up while the ph on the moms is going down. So to ensure that they stay within the right range I offset the ph.
clones
ph - 5.70
moms
ph - 6.04

Check out the pics. You can see little roots already coming out. The other ten decided to wait until today to show signs of rooting. I can count on all 20 growing which is good.
The cuttings first soaked in the dip n grow for about five minutes under the 1000w HPS. Then dipped them in the schultz take root. Shook off excess powder and then placed in each individual hole, in the bubbler. Foliar sprayed after 6 hrs of light and then again before the last hr everyday. In a nutshell, thats what I did.
