Swallowing smoke

yeah i actually try to swallow it sometimes...the taste doesnt bother me as long as its not a blunt...and i feel that when i exhale the high that follows is stronger than if id have just hit it normal...normally im ripped by the time im doin this so i might be wrong

I sometimes unwillingly swallow smoke when taking large bong hits, and that usually makes me feel a little uncomfortable/sick for a few minutes. As other have said it does not cause any damage; it just feels bad. Solution: drink carbonated sodapop and burp till you feel OK...burp!

I rarely swallow, but when I do, (which is accidentally) I usually just burp it up less than a minute later.

I don't swallow, I spit....oh wait, I mean I exhale :P I've never known anyone to get sick from swallowing smoke, but it does always make for a good laugh when you are sitting around stoned and somebody burps out a phantom puff of smoke

I swallow!

I do it cause I swallow water down and the smoke goes with it. After swallowing the water, I exhale. This process only takes a few seconds total. I don't know if it's because of the water, but I've never experienced a smoke burp. And I swallow big ass hits more than 50% of my tokes! The water enables me to take a much bigger hit which gets me stoned out of my ass!

I have a friend that swallowed a huge bong rip because he hiccuped, couldn't burp it out, and had to go the hospital because his stomach hurt so bad. You should usually be able to burp it out though. I don't know how much smoke you stomach can absorb. Kind of funny to burp weed smoke, but it's a waste to swallow it.

I have swallowed smoke b4. but i have also hiccuped when i was takeing a hit off of a joint cause i was drinking beer at the same time. i tell you what tho, it hurts so damn bad.. it gives you like the worst cramps ever. and your chest feels like its cramping up as well.

Could swallowing your hits every time you smoke (3-5 times a day) give you horrible diarrhea?
My friend said it was because I eat so much and I already have a fast matabilism, and weed makes it even faster, so that could be why i shit so much. hahahah.

p.s. im not that big of a person- 6 foot, 135 lbs.
