    Grinders: Type of Metal?

I'm looking at 4 and 5 piece grinders. Some places claim that titanium resists sticking (i.e. SpaceCase), yet the aluminum ones are much cheaper (i.e. Glider). Also, the SpaceCase pollen press is made of titanium, and I've heard that can get so sticky it can lock shut.

    Any experience with this?

Frank: Wait, dinner? What you don\'t talk anymore? [Dwayne nods head, agreeing.]
    F: Why not? [Rolls eyes.]
F: You can talk, but you choose not to. [Dwayne points to painting of Nietzsche]
F: Is that Nietzsche? You don\'t speak because of Friedrich Nietzsche? [Dwayne walks off unemotionally]
    F: Far out.

    Grinders: Type of Metal?

I'm not 100% sure but I think mine is aluminum because it was a cheaper one at a head shop ($30) but the kief does stick everywhere on this thing. I usually use the little brush that came with my breard trimmer to brush it all down into the kief box. If I didnt do this it probably would get all sticky in the threads that screw the grinder peices together and it would be hard to open and close but I dont think it would ever be completly stuck shut.

With the cheaper grinders (aluminum) you will most likely get small shavings of metal in your kief or your ground-up bud. If you can afford it, go with the spacecase...otherwise I'd just use my hands.

I hear these grinders called "Mendo Mulchers" are nice, but I've never seen one before.

I got an aluminum one, and its nice..i like it because all the weed goes in the second compartment (sp?) and its good to roll on the go by yourself (no need for hands)

BUT the kief thing isnt as effective as i thought it would be. the kief does get stuck everywhere and you dont collect all that much. Although problem solved, I got a coffee grinder thats just awesome for kief.
