Weird Neighbors.

I have a creepy old man neighbor who walks his 2 small dogs at all hours of the day. And he hangs out by the parking lot in the woods so that when one of us (the people who live around the area) walks out of our car he steps out and wants to talk....creepy!

And my other neighbor is a crazy old lady, about 87, and she mows the grass and gardens in bikini bottoms and a tube top...ick. And one time she was growing pot in her garden next to the tomatoes. And another time she chased a kid down the block with a rake and a rock.

haha I dont know her first name, but her last name is Wren. Shes crazy. I just wish I had more time or id tell a whole lot of more stories about her. Like how she vaccumms naked and has the blinds half turned...bad times, bad times.

The old guy sounds very lonely and I'll bet all he has are his 2 dogs. He may have relatives but they can't be bothered. It's sad. Maybe people can be nice to him and maybe even invite him for a meal or make him a plate now and then.
We have to help our elderly because, god willing, that will be us one day.
And your other neighbor, at least you know she smokes .
Us ladies, we get to an age where we don't care what others think of our dress. If she is thin and can pull it off, more power to her for having enough guts to do it. Shes prolly younger then 87. lol
Talk to her, see what happens. Ya never know.

A couple of years ago I was out riding around and a sign by the roadside caught my eye. So, I stopped and chatted the people up and decided to do a barter...their eggs for some of my veggies.

It worked out well. The first thing the older lady asked me was do I smoke. So I pulled out my cigs and said yes. We sat and smoked. The next day, I went back and she pulled me aside and said" I mean, do you smoke weed"? I was shocked. She's almost 70!
Boy, does she smoke. lol
But anyways, we have become friends and I'm welcome there any time for as long as I want.
I finally actually feel wanted by someone human! Plus there are 2 teen boys there and her ex-husband and tons of animals.
Only drawback. They are filthy people and I'll only wear certain clothes over there. Sit on a toilet? Never ever.
I am teaching them slowly but surely how to overcome the mess. They actually bought a new fridge. It's beautiful. Lets see how long it lasts. I know I'm going to be cleaning it because she won't. If I'm going to eat or drink there, it needs to have certain standards even if I end up doing the work.

I mean, what would you guys do?

I dunno, we all talk to the old guy but he's weird. When we were younger (and by we I mean me and a few other girls from the block) he got behind the one girl and humped the air behind her. So my parents always kind of told me to stay away from him. But now everyone just likes to keep it short and sweet with him.

And that older lady is indeed nuts. I whooped her granddaughters ass when I was in high school. And the whole time of me growing up and even know they all fight over there and scream and argue about "certain drugs that we cant mention here". All they are is welfare trash. Using foodstamps and government money to buy drugs. Then disturb the peace at all hours of the day.

Luckily for me however I dont live with my parents anymore but I do visit alot so when I do stay over I almost always here them screaming. The cops are there a lot.

I know what you mean about the mess, though. I have a longtime friend, Mary, who is not a housekeeper. I'm not either; I'm a clutterbug. But I pay money to have folks help me keep things fairly neat and to clean the surfaces underneath. My friend Mary is really pathologically filthy. The kitchen. The toilets. The furniture. It's scary. I can't stand to sit anyplace in her house, and while she knows she has a problem, she can't seem to get it under control. I feel more comfortable visiting here at our house. When I'm over at Mary's, I always wish I were wearing haz-mat gear!

Innocent older people need us tho. If you have a pet, bring him/her with you to a nursing home and watch EVERYBODY including the bedridden get happy and excited. It's pure magic.

Yeah I hang out and visit with my grandma alot anymore. I enjoy it. She has these awsome funny stories. And she cooks good. The whole family goes over there alot and just have dinner and bullshit. Its nice. The only bad thing is that she makes me kill ladybugs that come in in the summer haha. I vaccumm them up.

Oh BG, I have so many extra hours in a week that need filling up.
Taking my Boo boy to a nursing home is a blast. He gets so much attention he kinda gets frightened and needs his mom to hug on.
He's such a blast. lol

I keep things tidy here but both husband and I have issues throwing stuff out. Good thing we have the storage room.
We have been weeding things out a little at a time.
My friend is an ebay addict. She buys and sells and has for years. I'm going to let her auction off some of our stuff and give her 10% which we think is fair. All she is doing is listing and taking the photos. I'm remembering what mom and dad said. It's just stuff and you don't use it anyways. It's all put up. Why bother keeping it?
I'll buy new with the money. LOL
I just don't understand the filth.:wtf: Maybe she needs a kick start?
Bring a bucket, rags and supplies and start from top to bottom. Tell her to help and you expect her too keep it decent.

It's nice that you are spending time with granny now. It's fun to hear the old family stories and just to hang around with her. Doing it now is good because you don't need to have any "what ifs" later.
I'll bet you BOTH enjoy it a lot.
Remember to ask her for all her recipes now. Tell her you need them for when you settle down and need to cook for your man.
I didn't get either grandmas receipes before they passed and I so wish I did. I really miss their cooking and it's too late now.

my neighbor across the hall is a pretty cool car salesman. we keep trying to get him and his wife to come drink or smoke with us. the one downstairs is an old smack addict living with her mother and daughter. i just traded her a bowl of weed for some cigs. the ones down and across are a friendly elderly couple. haven't really talked to them much yet, but they're pretty cool. i just met the one down two levels today. he seems cool. might put him on the client list. they're all better than the last guy who called the cops on us all the time.
