I think its nice to know that finally scientists are acknowledging the reality of OOBE's, which were deemed as illusions or hallucinations until not long ago...

The scietific discourse has been influenced largely by a mechanistic and objective paradigm for the past 300 hundred years. It is only now through natural theoretical progression that psychologists are starting to consider that rather than mind coming from matter, rather than "Mind", or preception/awareness being the synergystic and cognitive end result of the mechanical and chemical interaction of "particles" with one another, INSTEAD it is in fact the concept of matter that arises from the cognitive processes of the "Mind", this includes in its definition of Mind the envirnoment and our physical interactions with it.
