I had a shaman share a very intriguing viewpoint on today's speech with me a few nights ago...

Why is it that we say words such as "sick" and "fool" when we are talking about positive things? Oh, sick car man! Why not simply say uplifting, such as great, divine, or righteous? When something or someone is sick, it/they should be cared for until in full strength.

Why do friends (males in particular) so commonly refer to each other as "fool"? Why not "brother", or simply "friend"? It all seems to have underlying negative tones for me... We need to be spreading more positive energy, more love. :hippy:
