The little green bars beside your post...

But can someone explain it why some people have alot of bars...and they are not lit up...and other have only 1 and it IS lit up...
and also...directly beside your name on your post there is a little "bulb" I will call it..and sometimes it's lit up and sometimes it's not...
It's not a big deal I just wonder what affects how many and if they are lit or not.[/align]

the little bulb, is lit up when someone is currently online, as far as rep goes, if you like someones post... click the little scale onthe side to give them some rep, if they offend you, you can give them some neg rep, long time posters naturally have more have more rep and so on... you can check how much rep ou have and who has given you rep under he user CP

no real reason, it's just how they do it... the higher rep squares are just lighter
