    will they grow better

so i was told to cut off alll of the sucker leaves and leaves that stuck far out off my branches on one of my ladies so i do so. so basicly the branches and top is all bud. i did this and yeah my baby didnt go into shock or anything but is it true this will make your buds grow faster and bigger and strnger. i guess the meaning of this is so that the plant or plants focus more on growing the buds instead of the plant focusing onall of the leaves... ne comments woould highly appreciated... just wanted imput from the best lol thanx for the help and support so far guys thanx

i am not the best but have grown for 30 years- it is my understanding that you should leave the leaves on- let them fall off naturaly -the leaves provide energy for the buds to grow- I only trim a leaf if it is totally yellow and sbout to fall itself

correct^ imo. or your plants are just too dense to allow for good airflow would be another good reason to trim off SOME leaves. the buds are basicly flowers and only produce so much energy themselves, you need the leaves to get the plant to convert sunlight and food into carbon i believe. i have done that too though as i was told the same thing a long time ago.

I agree with Two Guys with a bit of a difference.. I like to keep the leaves a bit open so light get to all the nooks and crannies. So I tend to remove the larger old leaves as long as there a lot of new growth going on but they's right the energy to convert sugers is in the photo synth of the green stuff. And you need it to keep the plant thriving. But a day or so before I crop I take off all the leaves and trim the buds a bit on the plant.. I think I get a higher THC content as the plant sends augers to the remaining buds in response to the trimming.
