I'm gonna agree with you 100% on this. Stupid people usually do get whats coming to them, but this is not about that, not to me anyways. Why would you do that to a 71 year old woman? I certainly wouldnt do that, I think I would do what you suggested if I was the cop. But who knows, one may get a maladjusted policeman who doesnt see the greater picture of the situation.

I agree that she isnt a menace...lol. I dont know, another bad judgement call by an officer. If the neighbors complain, then at least tell her to move it or at least just take it and confiscate it or something minimal but more acceptable than going to the slammer.
