My date of birth has changed

In the same vein I tried to enter the forum today and was taken to a page that said I had fields in my profile that had to be updated one was my birth date which the mods already have access to and secondly it required to know whether I was a marijuana patient, very strange.

Just saw the answer to this in another post, still don't know why the need to know about marijuana patient though, I don't have any problem with anyone knowing just wondering why.
