Does using a vaporizer stink like chronic?

So I had more than a few run ins with security last year at college and was wondering if vaporizers is a stealthier way to blaze...Does anyone out there know if they do in deed conceal the smell of pot? I found this small one for only $50 so if vaporizers don't smell I think i'm gonna pull the trigger on it. Any thoughts/ knowledge on whether vaporizing smells like blazing?

Do your homework- that $50 vape likely isn't worth the price. Run a search on the boards on the name. Get a "box" type- Vapor Brother's are good (under $150 inc. S&H). Since I own one, I can tell you it greatly minimizes the odor. There is a mild smell, but my weak Japanese incense is strong enough to cover the last bit of odor. Vapes also use less pot for the same high. It is easy on the lungs- no morning cough! I like that I can take a hit, put down the hose, do a post and pick up toking where I left off- it doesn't lose THC when you are not toking! It just sits and waits! AND the left-over "dross" can be baked into brownies, etc. Yes, you can get high twice off the same pot! You do need more than you would if you were using unvaped pot, but believe me, you can get a decent buzz off of vaped pot brownies! Get one! You'll love it I've had mine for a year and it was worth every penny!- Granny:hippy:

There is some smell with my volcano. Mainly just the first and second bag, after that it's pretty clean. I have it it low settings in the beginning (3), then work my way up to 6 or 7 before I dump out the contents of the holder. So like 8 bags total.

Uhhhh Okay...

1. The VaporGenie is a very good starting vaporizer. It's portable and works just like a regular pipe. The vaporizing attachment can actually screw onto any standard sized metal bowl allowing you to make pretty much any metal pipe into a vaporizer.

2. A Volcano DOES smell. (I own one and know what pot smells like)

Any vaporizer is going to smell. Obviously. If you scratch your asshole for long enough it won't start smelling like flowers...right?

When looking at a vaporizer, look for something that is actually passing or allowing the heat to pass through the "bowl" Not only does this tend to be the more efficient style but you'll have an even vaporization by constantly pulling or passing the heat through your bud.

Odd that others are smelling the volcano. I used it one time specifically in a place where I couldn't let it smell and I got no complaints of smell or anything. Before letting the air out I put the bag on right away. Sorry for all my speedy responses i'm on vacation right now so I don't have much time to use the internet.

If you are using a Volcano at the correct settings there is no odor at all. None. Zero. I have proved that so many times here. My wife has a nose like a bloodhound and she cannot smell it at all when I have it fired up.
She can hear it running though, but thats cool, she likes it too! Seriously I have had people come over and they smell nothing.

I run mine on 6.5 good. Use nicely cured bud. There is no smell at all. I have dope fiend over and they sure know what good dope smells like and they have no idea it has been doing its thing.
