There's a difference between a christian and christianity. Christianity is a religion but true christians are:

"built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."

God doesn't need man to build a house (church) of stones for him to dwell. We are the temple of the living God. If a church was really the house of God, how would we know which one is really his house?

"Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."

Unfortunately, christians are often associated with false relgions even though there are christians who feel that all religions are FALSE!

Some of these are actually scary thoughts! That today's society is so blind. Our government is corrupt, our schools are dummying themselves to make sure no feels left out and everyone is "on the same level," kids these days have no respect for their elders, history, or have any manners. They have no grasp of the world today. Who do you blame? Parents? I know that if I did something wrong as a kid I sure had my ass whipped. But now, we can't do that. . I know there are limits but, parents should be able to spank their kids to teach them a thing or two. Just look at the youth of today and the youth of the past: 50s, 60s, and 70s. See a difference? Trust me, when I have kids there will definitely be discipline, I'm not taking the liberal approach.

Take the self involved government officials out of power one example the government in NYC whom are trying to ban the words Bitch, Ho, and the *N word. I don't use the words but if someone wanted to I think they have the right to, same as any other word out there. Thats what FREEDOM OF SPEECH is for. As well as all the other rights that were given to the people I would make sure as long as I was in power they would remain their rights. I would definitely let people have more of a decision about the laws that govern where we all live. And, last but definitely not least MAKE WEED LEGAL! ! ! Damn, is it that hard to grasp? If the damn government would take their heads out of their asses and smell the ganja they would see how much money they would save buy just letting the world be a happier place. All they would have to do is just take it, sell it, tax it. Like cigs then they could take all the savings and put it into education and educate our youth so we don't end up in a world like the movie IDIOCRACY.

Those people don't reflect anything about the religious philosophies, they are not true muslims or christians.

But they still find motivation and excuses for their crimes in religion. Perhaps they would find it elsewhere, or perhaps not. Misguided religious teachings can be the one thing that pushes a good person to do a bad thing.

Who is to say that their perception of the religion is false, and any "good" persons is right? The obscure nature of holy texts, not to mention what's lost over time and through translation is dangerous.

i think the issue with kids these days is a reduce in discipline and authority that schools have due to the fear of phedophillia and liberalism and the meloncoly and apathy parents have towards the kids they had when they where far to young. im not saying that having kids young is bad thing, but how can you teach a child to be responsable when your still a kid yourself. i have read several times that a males brain is not fully matured till his is around 25 so up untill this ages really we (as males ) should be learning, trying new things and seeing the world.

i think alot of children have anger issues these days and have been failed by the state and education. i blieve in equal oppertunity, but some children seem to squaller these time and time again. its gotta be hard not having an outlet, but they can't see the bigger picture tha if you want a better future you have to build it yourself.

the thing is though i see and have know people triumph even with daunting situations. a close friend of mine when he was 16 took legal responsability of his younger brother and sister cus his mum was a suicidal alcoholic. he managed the finances, worked his ass off and studied, he got into the top economics school outside of london and has just got a job in london managing hedge funds starting on 38k ( 76$k in dollars) with an unlimited bonus, on average he said hell get from 80 - 250 K for that. theres no reason for these kids to see no future. they just gotta think. but i think alot of em can't they just reproduce adn so we go round and round.

i think in britian it is a travesty the way the personal defense law stands. cus if a burglar broke into my house and i killed him with my katana, i would go to jail. it seems in this day and age the innocent and upstanding citizens have no power.

so im arming myself, and im prepared, cus when anarchy comes, im gonna make heads roll.

Now, I've learned gradually to accept stupidity, and ignorance, but I am really having trouble when I read somthing like this. How can somone be filled with so much blind hate? He has a right to think whatever bullshit he likes, but how do we have a world that would allow people to develop mindsets like this?

I live in London and on the way home today saw a 13 year old boy (or he looked it) screaming in the face of an old man for no apparnt reason. I grabbed him and told him to back off, asking why he was doing it, and he pulled a knife on me and spat at me (but thankfully missed). He was shaking like a leaf. I asked "Kid what the hell are you doing man, just be cool c'mon" when he just said "Fuck you" and ran off...

I am seriously have a difficult time accepting the world right now. On one level I am sort of impartial to all I see on a "stuff is happening" level. It's got me good at switching off when bosses/teachers/cock ends are having a go at me for no reason, or even dealing with some dark times/events, but it's hard for me to understand why anyone would seek to increase suffering in this world, be it real or illusion...

If anyone could offer some words of wisdom or advice I'd appreciate it greatly. I'm abit upset.

The reason this person has this view is because he/she has listened to too much of the bullshit on the media. He's been brainwashed, simple as that. We're all the way on the other side of the world from Islamic nations. Really, the only information we have on them in the mainstream media are the lies and propaganda, used to support the war in Afghanistan and Iraq. This is the kind of propaganda that is used to inflict fear and subsequently hate on certain people. This person has never done his/her research on the subject, and has only listened to what the government and media has to say.

The idea is to ignore this, or if you can't ignore it, take it upon yourself to educate them about it. People need to realize that our news and media is not a good source for valid information. Most of it is filled with propaganda to sway your opinion in the favor of whoever is trying to convey the message. Remember, the media is controlled by only a handful of people. It's pretty much all propaganda, and it has even reached our movies and television shows. The idea is to take whatever is said with a grain of salt. To get real information you need to dig deeply, and you should use the Internet to do that. While you shouldn't believe everything on the Internet either, there is valid information.

Like I said, to deal with ignorance you need to snap the person out of the ignorance. Open them up. These people are usually very narrow-minded, and think they know what's going on in the world, but actually have no idea. You don't want to try and tell them they're ignorant, though... because the denial of one's ignorance is part of ignorance.

You talk about the media asif the organized church or construction of the bible is not corrupt atall. the media brain washes, but so do religious institution.

I have learnt since creating this post (and not through the replies, tho' they were helpful) that to deal with those I consdier ignorant is nothnigm ore than to accept them. They and their own existance is as relevant as my own, even if I feel utterly convited to my immediate existance.

Acceptance is the key. My key atleast, the journey of self discovery is differn't for us all, tho' what we share is that we are all on it.
