Has anyone ever used bee's to protect an outdoor grow?
I was watching a show on making honey, and thought a few of those bee boxes would be a nice security feature. Any thoughts?

I have a Willie Nelson in my row of bushes, they're stinking Rosemarys, and just full of honeybees ... they pay me no mind, at all ... but, I was told the Rosemary stink would keep the deer away (it doesn't) ... damned deer are destroying my tomato plants ... maybe if we salted our crops with rattlesnakes and scorpions :jointsmile:

Hey man, just a thought, have you tried fox urine to keep the deer away? I know it works for smaller animals, not sure for deer. but you can get some in home depot, or any green house supply shop. I used to recommend it all the time when I worked at home depot for people growing tomatoes and other vegetables that were getting raided by animals. And you really cant smell it so it wont bother you at all. laterz..

thanks for the tips, but , Yup, tried it ... tried mountain lion pee, wolf pee, my sister (thought I was gonna say 'sister-pee', didn't ya ?) tried it for rabbits, no luck either ... I think it's because these deer are living in town with people, have no fear ... these little old ladies around here, feed the rat bastards, and think I'm just a mean old man ... :wtf:

they only people that bees would keep away are the ones that are scared of them. id love to get some bees anyways though, someday... it would probably draw more attention anyways, from people and animals.
