I've taught college kids for the past 12 years and I love them to death! But sometimes they are such knuckleheads, it just makes you wonder what they are thinking! But then I remember how I was at that age

College is too expensive to party it away, however, so if you find yourself not doing your work for school and failing classes as a result, you need to seriously rethink things. You will really get out whatever you put into the college experience. And remember, no one can teach you anything against your will- you have to do the work for the learning to take place.

But above all, enjoy the discovery process. Sometimes students limit their learning because they are unable to receive- they resent someone telling them how to do something- but that is exactly what learning requires! Be a sponge and absorb EVERYTHING!
