I've actually been using Farfard seedling mix (also at agway) for the first 2 weeks and going into that compost mix on the first repot, and using it all the way through.
I'd actually recommend 30-40% perlite instead of 50- I have to go make sure it's written that way in the manual. But it is a fine mix for all post- seedling life stages. If you want to use it for seedlings, break it up really fine and flush it once before use.

Soil: Scott's Potting Mix (0-1-0) and Perlite ~70/30 mix. 4 inch pot. No nutes yet. Was going to add some (Fish Emulsion 5-1-1 // 1/4 tsp - gallon) next watering when she's about 3 weeks. I read when she has 4 nodes or so, it's ok to start with minimal nutes.. this ok? I get the water from the tap, left out for a couple days. Then it's PH'd to around 6.5-6.8. Not Rating: 5
