I read in average 3 books a month. I usally have several books going at once. It all started with my 2nd garde teacher telling me reading would help me learn the english language better. I will always be grateful to her for that. I will read almost anything. I read the paper every morning with my morning dobbie. I don't know how many times I was asked while carrying a book in school, "Are you reading that for a class?" Then again half my graduating class had a 3rd grade reading level. Sad, but true. It's so sad to me when someone hasn't discovered the joys of literature. The worst part though, is that people, especially younger people, think that not reading is cool. Reading builds you imagination, and that is always better than staring at a tv screen all day IMHO.
