Are you worrying about a ton of things at once and trying to deal with too much right now? Are you getting any exercise? Eating well? Getting plenty of sleep?

I find that when I'm feeling like I bear the weight of the world on my shoulders, it's most often when it's late at night and I'm tired and overwhelmed by the weight of my day and my responsibilities. But it can also happen when you're dealing with depression, too. Make sure you're not trying to worry about a bunch of things you can't control--and make sure you're resting enough, eating well, drinking plenty of non-alcoholic fluids, taking your vitamins, and getting some exercise. Try talking out some of those burdens with friends and letting as much of it go as you can. I find meditation and/or yoga tremendously helpful, too.

Sorry if this sounds like advice from a mom. That's what it is. I can't help myself.

I'm only in my late 20s, which is still pretty young. But when I start getting depressed and stressed out I think to myself "how am I going to deal with this for another 50-60+ years? Sometimes it seems overbearing. Sorry if this is a little confusing. Rating: 5
