I have smoked joints and blunts before, but i usually just smoke bowls and bongs. but my question is, are there any advantages to rolling a large jay, instead of just rolling up a nice blunt instead? Disregarding price and availability, if smoking more than a g or so, are blunts all around better (they burn slower, taste nicer, classier) or are there some advantages to a large jay such as this?

It's all a matter of opinion. The joint will burn faster, but you'll be getting more weed per puff (assuming it's using the same amount of weed). A blunt will burn a lot slower because it's got really thick paper, and every hit has a lot more paper burning, so you don't get as much weed per hit as off of a joint. If you wanna just sit back and enjoy you're smoke with a few mates and chill out for a bit, I'd go with the blunt since it lasts longer and smoke sessions are always extremely pleasurable.

Personally, though, I usually just roll a personal joint, or share 1 joint for every 2 people.

My FAVORITE, though, is when 5 or 6 of us put in .3 each into a clear blunt-size paper. That thing burns so slowly, nicely, and it tastes so great!

I'll get a pic up....it's a shame you can't see my immense mullet in that picture, though, because it's all tied up and I'm already pretty high, but who's actually gonna turn down an offer to smoke again!
