Seed buying question
I've never bought seeds before and since my first try at growing was a success using bag seeds, I thought I'd go up a notch and get some AK47 from Joey Weed.
I'm extremely paranoid about this. It just seems that sending a letter to their PO BOX would tip off the feds here in the states and they could open my envelope to get my address on the order form. Or, they could use the return address on the seed package to know what's inside and they can bust me that way.
I don't live in a state where medical marijuana is allowed, either.
Can anyone help to relax me a bit on this? Reaper, I've read that you are very familiar with this stuff so any input you have would be great. Also, is Joey Weed's AK47 the way to go? I don't want to spend a lot but I want something easy to grow that has a good yield (if I do this right, obvously) and I really don't want something that will stink up my house, even if I'm growing in my basement.
Thanks for the help.BobWeed Reviewed by BobWeed on . Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique is your anwer. They're very discreet, they carry AK-47, and I've never heard of anyone having problems from them. The prices for certain breeders are the best prices available too.

Seed buying question
thanks for the info.
But my real concern is the part about the feds seeing what address I'm mailing to (with my address inside the envelope) and the seeds being mailed to me.
does the seed package have any return address on there at all? It just seems so easy for someone to get either busted or put on some watch list simply by having seeds mailed to you.

I'm not completely sure if the package has a return address. I send my seeds to a trusted friend and pick them up whenever they arrive (he opens the package to see what strains I get, so I don't get the original box it comes in). I was also worried about the feds showing up at my door, but I hear if they find out what's in your package you only get a letter from homeland security saying illegal items were being sent to your house and that they took care of it for you.

Seed buying question
The return addy on any seed packs I've seen is simple and nondescript. If you are concerned about customs, there ARE a couple domestic seed sources that you can find if you hunt around hard enough on these forums.

Thanks, Stinky.
Have you ever used Joey Weed? Or do you think Nirvana is the way to go? I'm really looking for something stealthy here.

Seed buying question
I highly recommend Hemp Depot, and Joey Weed, (as everyone is probably getting tired of hearing from me )
... regardless of which seedbank you use, they are all going to ship to the address you give them, naturally ... you are NOT legally responsible for something mailed to you, you have to be in possession of it, just act dumb: "what the hell could this be ?" :wtf: ... ... I've had mine sent to my home address and P.O. Box, either one, no difference ... in fact, two orders from Growshop Alien arrived, requiring me to personally sign for it ... I'm a medical user, so I'm not too concerned about it ... you either have it mailed to yourself, or someone else, but, then you have another person who knows what you're doing ... " ya plays yer cards, and ya takes yer chances "

Seed buying question
Thanks, Reaper. I was hoping you'd respond. You put my mind at ease a bit with the whole "receiving" the seeds in the mail. I'm really good at playing dumb.
so can I ask you this? Any major differences in buying the much cheaper Nirvana seeds (like AK47) over Joey Weed? I'm sure quality comes into play but I was just wondering what if you have any experience in that.
do you think I'm making a good choice? I'm looking for something that has a fast flowering time, high yield, easy to manage (I'm still a newb at this, but my first run really impressed some people), and won't get too big (I have about 4-5 feet of head space and about 3 feet wide by 5 feet long), or too smelly. I'm growing what I'm pretty sure is an NL variety and you can't really smell it unless you touch it and smell your fingers or break open a finished bud but it was very easy to grow, I just got hermies galore!
Also...I wanted to ask you or stinky. I got a lot of seeds from my last grow because a few really hermied. Believe me, it took awhile to get the seeds out after I let them dry but the weed itself is great so I'm glad I didn't throw them out. I like this strain of what I have and would like to keep using these seeds but do you think it's just not worth it? I have to figure that these seeds will probably produce more hermies.
Thanks guys.

your seeds are probably prone to hermaphrodite traits, but, if you really enjoyed it, go for it  ... nothing matters until you light it up ...
P.S. ... the Northern Lights was an excellent choice
