Yup its come to that time. This is going to be my new project. Currently im working on the case still. I will post pictures when I can get a damn camera..

But first, yeah this would be my second PC grow. I did one a while back and it went terrible (i knew nothing of growing) had no ventelation. One tiny CFL.. and I forgot to water it

So this is my new attempt. Basically im using a smallish tower, I dont know the demensions off the top of my head but I'll get them tomorrow. I had to make sure that the pc looked exactly like a pc case because the people I live with are not very found of the plant I plan on growing =]

But anyways, I plan on just growing bagseed and I will be running 12/12 from start to finnish. Right now im working on a lighting system, I want to use a CFL but the problem is I can only fit 1 in there, So Im looking for a big ass one or something to use..

And about the light leakage.. This isnt a huge deal. But im kinda sketchy on oder problems... I dont know if I will be able to make a carbon scrubber.. so any input on that would be really appreciated.

Sence im working with a PC case im probably going to have to do some LST or something to keep it low. I saw on PC Grow Club on a different forum (cant remember name) someone had a screen type device that went acrost the computer case and once the plants reached it it would spread them out. Isnt this what they call SCROG?

SCROG is sea of green right? Where you use chicken mesh or some such thing to train the plants nice n low..? I aint used it dude so can't help.. just like your idea! Rep mate.

Yeah thanks man, I got that idea from someone else though. Im not sure if its really SCROG but yeah its used to keep them low. Someone like to tell me if im going to have a bad oder problem? Thats the only thing keeping me from doing this grow... Input would be appreciated.. :thumbsup:

This weekend I will be getting my Light and will probably be making a carbon filter. And once I get that I will plant next week.. if all goes well.

ok i got confused when i first read up on this so your not alone sog is sea of green witch have to have some good space and alot of little plants in your case i wouldnt do

scrog is when you use a screen to train them to grow low to the ground! i just started scrog with 3 plants its probley your best bet on this same forum scrool down and look for the thread called sea of green how does it work thats the one i started 2-3 days ago it will give you all the info you need and if you want you can reply on my thread if you want to ask the same guys ive been asking

and another thing i wouldnt run 12/12 form start unless there all clones and still wouldnt do it you need to have a tleast 2-3 weeks of veg then switch to 12/12

and your also can get a 42 watt cfl at hardwares tores biggest ones i could find it eqivalent to 150 watts big as hell swivel cfl

Yeah dude, I have checked that thread out, and thanks. Im slowely learning about scrog. But about the 12/12.. I'v seen alot of PC Micro grows go from start to finnish on 12/12 so im really leaning towards that. Or maybe i'll just go like 2 weeks on veg then 12/12. Not completely sure yet.

check out home depot.. or lowes.. u can get like a 150 watt hps bulb.. there are sold as spot lights.. heres a link to a 50 watt hps (hps used for flowering) for under $40.. Lithonia Lighting 50 Watt Bronze High Pressure Sodium Floodlight - TFS 50S 120 LPI M6 at The Home Depot

there is diff sizes.. just make sure to get a hps.. also i think the 50watt may to nicely in the little pc tower.. u may have to remove the outer shell and just leave the silver backing intact.. 6" x 6" x 6" but if able to remove shell i would say mmay b 4"ish thick.. u could always mount on the top of the cpu and mount it looking down in.. but just my input! good luck.. and hope that helps your yield... may want to grow like 6 little pots in there too get the best yield for all u troubles.. peace
