i was going to do that untill i found a different light. its possible, ive read and seen a couple of grows do it with security lights. they are either 70w or 150w i think so do it accordingly. a little wiring and jerry rigging skills are needed though. oops i guess yours is a 400, even better. i was thinking of a standard security lamp.

I'm getting my set-up together and though I do not have much money to spend on the lighting system I'd like, I do have access to this light for FREE as well as the same model but with a metal halide lamp... both FREE and NEW.
