last time i fell in "love", took me almost a year of dating him, i knew i was in "lust", i just wondered if i would ever "love" him. Then one day, much to my surprise, he was fixing the car, some part would not come undone, and instead of kicking the car, the dog or me, he just put the thing back together and said he would fix it later, when he had the right tool. I stood in that doorway watching him and it dawned on me almost like a blanket comming over me, I love this man....i love everything about him. Glad that car needed fixing, cause i had just started wondering if i would ever "fall in love" with him and should i move on? I have been married to him for seven years, and with him for 14. I will never forget that day....realizing i did indeed love him. It took time that time, and i was old enough to know the difference between love and lust. And lucky enough that he put up with me for that year doing some really stupid things trying to drive him away from me, not wanting to be hurt again.. He knew before i did, i guess. Big smiles here just remembering that day, watching him not kick the car or the dog or me.
