I just moved my setup to this utility closet in my house. I just purchased one of those security lights from walmart (Mercury Vapor 175W) and puts out 7850 Lumens and rewired it and now I have that in the closet. I have mylar on the closet door, closet floor, two plywood boards covered in mylar towards the back of the closet, and on the right side is four 18" fluros which i've used previously before the Mercury light. Its been a month in veg now, still got about another few weeks till I change the cycle. I wish I could find my digital camera so I could show you the setup. I just transplanted the four plants into 3Quart pots. Hopefully the new light will show an improvement. Hell, for 30 bucks, you cant go wrong. I will be buying another one of these lights and setting it up on the other side of the closet tomorrow. The drywall in the closet is cut up in the back, and you can actually see the concrete slabs of the house, so this makes the area quite cool. I might buy a small fan in there, just to circulate the airflow.

how big is the closet?

4 x 3 x 7 ..

1000watt hps

with a squirrel exhaust fan on the door nob blowing air out of the closet (if you can, hook exhaust to the hps light fixtures.... this should bring plenty pof fresh air into the closet from the crack at the bottom of the door and blow all the hot air out the door knob)

Mylar the walls.

and get a small ocilating fan(will come in handy)....

Soil - 6 - 10 plants...

you'll be in bliss in NO time at all!!!

Sounds like a good lil plan. What if i use my 400w hps plus some fluros on the walls for extra light?
