I'd been following this guy's site, and he just put up a study he did on fluorescent lights, where he tested the growing ability of several types of bulbs. It's the first good test I've seen done on it, and even though he didn't use cannabis, I think there's a lot we can learn from it.

Essentially, he makes the same conclusion most cannabis growers have made, that regular tubes are fine for growing. In many cases, they're even better.
