Hey, I was wondering if anybody has had suceess growing shrooms indoors (closet style)? If so, what kit did you use, and do you know where to get it?

i dont know much about it but a friend of mine ordered mushroom spores online (not sure what site or anything), he grew them in a cake.. dont remember how they turned out though

It's about as easy as you want to make it. I would suggest sticking to the basic pf half pint jars until you have an understanding of how to grow them. I'd order a spore syringe rather than a spore print until you know what you're doing and can get a handle on sterility. Another good site is the nook. I've ordered both prints and syringes online with no trouble. But once you get growing you can trade for prints! hope this helps.

here is some I made earlier as long as you keep the humiditiy at about 95% and follow the instructions you can't go wrong at the moment the Gov are trying to get shrooms banned these are golden teacher a mexican strain very nice dried and boiled

SPore syringes can be bought online for as cheap as $10-20 a needle (go to shroomery.org and use the sponsors, they're the most reliable). You need to cut the cap off of a shroom and place it over a sterilized piece of paper and wait for the spores to drop onto the paper. It will make a pretty black design as they drop.
