Proper Bong Care

hello folks. i've been a toker for several years now. glass bowls have come and gone for me. have a little metal guitar bowl. but within the last 2-3 weeks, i added a new member to my growing family of pieces(now at 2 lol).

yoda has the force. which is what i named my new glass bong. i've never owned a bong before. so i would like some tips on how to keep it in tip-top shape. i have it wrapped in a hoodie when not in use to prevent the glass base from chipping.

after i've completed a session with it, i always dump the water. but there will be some resinated chunks still in there, or stuck to the female piece. i use a glass with lukewarm water, and pour it back into the bong. i do this until i feel it's pretty clean on the inside. in upcoming sessions, when i dryhit the bong to make sure the water level is right, it doesnt have a nasty stale-water taste to it.

any other tips?

when it gets real grodey inside, use nail polish remover, and salt and shake it around in there and it makes it good as new.

Dont put soft drinks in it the sugar really makes the bong dirty and is hard to clean

lol that reminds me of a story a friend of mine left her bong in my car for a few days so i could use it and the day i gave it back she got pulled over

if you are not using it for awhile remember to take the water out, if you leave it in for a long time it will get moldy and shit

isopropyl alcohol works good to clean it as well

haha fuck that. nothing goes into my bong while im smoking it other than water and ice.

Lately I have been storing my sliders in a jar of rubbing alcohol when they are not in use, and then just rinsing them off before a session... it keeps them from getting gummed up. Sliders can be SUCH a pain to clean!!!
