I dont roll a joint without a filter in it anymore.

I use a rolling machine as well, and I can get a perfectly rolled, perfect burning joint with a filter in it, that doesnt have any problems smoking at all.

The filter helps cool the smoke slightly, and most importantly, it prevents you from having to get resin on your fingers or burning your mouth/fingers trying to hit a roach. I dont need or want that shit on my fingers, and I dont enjoy burnin my lips/fingers.

I have some friends who think its a badge of honor to be able to hit a roach until they are getting liquid resin on their fingers from pullin a hit through it, and its burning the piss out of their fingers as well... but personally that just seems stupid.

My motto with everything in life, pot smoking included, has always been... "Work(smoke) smarter, not harder."

To each their own though, I suppose.

Lately I've been putting a lot of effort into my joints. So let me describe to you my perfect joint. I got my hands on a joint roller recently, so I use that. It makes the joints perfect in shape. I also like to use a business card for a filter. Usually 4-5mm just so you can have your lips or finger on something to avoid getting burned. As an added touch, I use OCB pepers.
