Harvest fest is a BLAST. look for bonaroo, mind fest, there is a harvest fest in main too. my freinds just went to one this past weekend in western massechusetts. I couldn't go cause i have no $$.
Bonaroo is evry year, and i think it's like 4 days long. Bands play evrynight. Like goverment mule, discobiskuts, oysterhead, so many bands i realy don't remember, plus i was in a world of color and madness the whole time. The weed they have there is GOOD and people just walk arround going "i gots your K.B. right here, want hydro!". They come into your tent, smoke you stupid and then ask if you want to buy it. I LOVE IT! LOL:rastasmoke:

yeh heard about that bonaroo festi, dude I was chillen with from Queens had just gotten back from it a minute back, I hear it is all the rage. Also they got those reggae fests on the west coast every year, liek reggae on the river right now the reggaecari fest is going around too, Randals island on the 25th.. thinking of going actually, that over the Hot 97 On the reggae tip on the 31st.. bascially the same lineup minus Stephen and Damian marley, but Ninja Man gona be aty reggaecarib so I think I rather hear him instead of the marleys.. and it is a outdoor so think it'll be cooler than on the reggae tip with our nazi no smoking indoor laws and shit, how am I gonna blaze a spliff like that...

Bonnaroo is great, but they really need to grow some trees around the campground, for shade. Without any trees, baking in the Tennessee heat for four days is a beotch. I doubt I'll go again, unless I decide to splurge and get the VIP package. I love camping, mind you, but I need trees!

Ahhh festivals...probably what keeps me sane. I try to go to as many as I can, but my funds don't really make that possible. I usually go to 2-3 a year; this year was Summercamp and the Big Summer Classic...both INSANE and beyond my expectations.
There is also 10KLF, Wakarusa (I went in '06 and had a BLAST), and of course the over-hyped and over-played Bonnaroo. Those are the bigger ones that are during the summer, but there are PLENTY more it just varies depending on your location. My thing with Bonnaroo is it's just far too crowded and far too hot for my liking. If I pay money to go see a show, and I can't see it because it's over capacity, that's a problem. There are so many other festivals that are not only smaller but have better music and a better atmosphere. It's all about the atmosphere.
