First Grow from Bagseed w/Pics

Hello all. After reading everyones posts for a week or so I finally decided to post some pics of my plants. These plants are from bagseed and are about 5 1/2 weeks old right now. I have 4 plants this old right now but only have pics of the 2 for right now. Like I said they are from random bags i've had over the last few months. Mainly becuase i didnt want to shell out the money for good seeds and mess everything up on the first try. These plants were started under 24/0 light under 2-48" flouo's with cool white bulbs. Thats it. They have been getting a standard garden fert once a week under measured so not to over fert. The last 3 days i have cut the light to 20/4 and tonight switched it to 16/8 with hopes of starting flowering soon. I am pretty sure these are standard Indica's but would love someone to either confirm that or correct me. Also I have included one close up pic of what i think is a preflower. Please let me know if that is correct and if it is too early to tell sex yet.

You should have had them on 18/6 the whole time. And generally speaking commercial weed is more sativa.

In answer to your sexing question, I would bank on that being a female (well i'd put £10 on it anyway ) Mine looked exactly the same and they were all female preflowers.

Now i'm no expert on this (or anything else when I think about it :jointsmile, but I think its a regular indica, due to the broad leaf structure. I believe sativa's have a more narrow thin leaf, but I could be wrong on that one.

Ditch the aluminium foil BTW, you'd be better with flat white paint.

Hey Highallthetime. Thanks for the reply. Got 2 days for veg left to finish the 6 week grow then switching to flowering on thursday. Afgani 1 huh. sweet.

Hey Mjdragon. I hope your right about the sex. I have 4 plants going now so i am hopeing to get at least 2 females. I'll get to the hardware store and get some white paint but just figured the foils gotta at least be helping a little bit.

like most of the people here, im no expert, hell, im not even in kindergarten, but it was my understanding that fems had long thin preflowers, and males had groupings of short stubby preflowers.
but then again, i dont know for sure
and i dont know what hes talkin about, my grow area is lined with tinfoil and mine are doing just fine as far as i know
