I'm not saying the weed is what made these people violent, but since weed was involved, it could easily be used statistically to point to violence being associated with marijuana use. It would have to be, actually, becuase the whole thing was over a "bad drug deal" and the drug was marijuana.

I presume the two fellows that were killed did get some weed. Some wet, cut-to-soon and still underweight bags, that probably didn't get them very high at all. They went back with shotguns.

My argument isn't that weed makes you violent, but that bad people that smoke weed make weed a convenient scapegoat for thier fuckedupeddness.

Some kid up here killed and raped (don't remeber what order) his stepmother, and stuffed her in a freezer. Later told the cops he was "so high he didn't know what he was doing". Total bullshit of course. I think in the end it came out that he didn't have many cannabinoids in his system at the time of arrest.

But when used as a bit of statistical data, it can hugely skew the hundred stoners smoking a joint and watching "Jeopardy".

I guess my point is simple: really bad people smoke pot too.
