So yeah, Here I am, outside at work hosin some stuff down when a car FULL of girls pull up. I'm talkin to one for like five mins and right before I move in for the kill, I dropped the hose on its handle and soaked the two of us!:wtf:

Man, I just read this post, and what I will begin is some excellent advice. Then I will explain why this advice is valuable.

You need to get a better job. Gas attendant is not so good. Most girls do not want to say to each other, my bf works at pump n' go. Something with a bit more status is a move in a positive direction.

The two worst pickup lines, or introduction lines are the following two, and neither is better od worse than the other:

In a human behavior experiment, more than 1000 girls and women, from 18 to 30 were asked to rate photographs of men dressed different ways. Some of the men were in several pictures dressed different ways. The outfit and accessories were found to determine the mate "worthiness" of the photographed male.

The ones in gas pump uniforms, or fast food get-ups came in last. The picture, even of the not-so-spectacular guy came in way above even the 'hunks" dressed that way.
The most successful outfit was the navy blue blazer/sportcoat with a white button-up shirt, comfortable looking jeans, nice (not expensive, necessarily) metal watch, and a solid color tie (not so necessary).

You CAN BE this guy, without "selling out".

I don't know what's so wrong about a) getting numbers at your job and b) working at a gas station.
