Anyone want to give me reassurance?

I have a major career opportunity. As soon as it came up, I mostly stopped smoking. I smoked a couple of numbers over the course of a week around the Fourth of July. Did a couple of bong hits - literally, two or three - on weekends after that, but haven't touched anything since the last weekend in July. I am 6'1" and about 250 - i lift a lot of weights but have a spare tire for sure.

All my home tests are negative and I take them all the time. First void of the day, beginning of the stream, mid day, whatever. All come up negative. I am taking the test this week and am planning to drink a lot of Gatorade going in.

I've been smoking since the '70's and am a middle-aged responsible parent. I am so sick of having to pass this BS test to get a job I cannot tell you, but I digress.

My wife, who does not smoke at all, tells me I am fine. I think I am OK, but one never knows. Anybody want to weigh in from a scientific viewpoint?

I should add I exercise like wild - cardio 6 or 7 days a week plus weights.

I'm in the same position.If your home tests are coming out clean you should be good.Just do the usual procedure on test day to be sure.Drink some extra fluids on the day of the test,piss a couple times before and take your midstream piss.
If you really don't want to take a chance pickup some quickfix and sub.Just be sure to practice with it before you do the real deal.

I know exactly where you are at. If you are passing the at home tests you should be good. Just do some water loading anyway to be sure. Other than that, you have to do what is best for your family. After my last stressed out after drug test time I decided that I have to abstain until I don't have to deal with random tests. In 4 -1/2 years I'll be free to partake, but until then, my life is for them (family). Best wishes and good luck.
