Hey guys, had some quick questions for anyone who might be able to help me out. Thanks in advance!

1. If I live in S. Florida is there any best/worst times to plant outdoors?

2. I have a very well hidden space on the second story of my place, does that effect the grow? It is about .9' wide and 3' long, facing north, and sun is partially obstructed due to the roof directly above. I am thinking I can grow a lowryder type strain in this space without people being able to see from the lower story. Can a 1 gal. bucket fit in this amount of space?

3. What kind of smell can I expect from two small plants on the second story? Will people be able to smell it downstairs?

thats not entirely true i grow outside and i am this year and i was maybe about 10 feet from my plants and i could smell them lol kinda strong too

While indica or sativa genetics can influence the plants profile indicas can easily get much taller than 3-5 feet.

Very Wrong! If you get a hold of a heavy skunk you can smell it for a mile ... I have rode my scoot down the back roads around here and have hit spots where I get a big whiff of skunk weed someone has growing out in the hills a long way off.. I have one plant growing in my scrog grow and I can smell it from my porch and its a good 100 yards away..

But on the good side there are many variates that have almost no oder at all..

Also I would go for a MUCH bigger pot.. I tend to go with minimun 5 gal and prefer something like one of the Big Flower planters they sell at Wally Mart and holds about 10 -20 gal of soil...

Just my thoughts take em for what theys worth.. Grow forth and prosper!

Someone is growing outside at their house right of the main road near my house. You can smell it out on the main road, just driving by. That stuff smells good.

not to beat a dead horse but i beg to differ as well :P i can smell mine long before i see them (which fucking sucks)

hey man, i live in central florida.. right now its pretty much too late to start a seed, the days are getting shorter much quicker.. you could try, maybe take it in under some artificial light for a couple hours once the sun is down then toss it back outside to kinda try and fake it out, but time is extremely limited if not already gone.. as far as when to plant next year, i guess it would all depend on the size of plant you want.. if you want a smaller more manageable and easy to hide plant, start em in mid may-early june .. i started mine in march and one of em is pushing 8 feet lol.. so a later start would probably be wiser for you.. i also read that you wont be getting much sun at all in this spot.. thisll make for kind of a dismal grow.. weed loves the sun and needs lots of it.. do a bit more searching and see if you can find a spot that gets at least a little direct sun.. i realize this will be hard as hell to do in an apartment..
theres no wooded, secluded areas anywhere out there? i know in my little part of florida its pretty much the fuckin backwoods.. do some scouting over the winter and see if you cant find a good inconspicous, spot where you dont think anyone would be snooping around in.. good luck man
