    Strain Guidelines

Does anyone know of a website or link that would show the ideal growing conditions, habits, reccomended ppm, tips for specific strains? I would love to see write ups for Power Plant & White Widow. Any help is appreciated.

Also, I will be doing 4 PP next grow in a 4x4 hydrohut with Waterfarm's 4 modules and res. using Gen Hydro. I will start with 4 fem seeds. I have a feeling that worse case scenario 1 of the 4 fem germ. and sprout that one plant can easily overtake the hut ... especially since I have the res./portable a/c and Co2 inside the hut also. If all 4 germ. should I switch to flower when they are about 6-7" tall? If only 1-2 germ. I would plan to let them veg longer. I figure whats the worse that can happen they get too big; start bending. Any advice, comments or suggestions would be great.

that's an excellent idea, but with all my MJ Web-surfing, I've yet to come across specific guidelines for a particular strain ... I have grown out Dutch Passion White Widow ... I can tell you it does NOT like much in the way of fertilizers ... a very light feeder, does well without many needs ... I would give seedlings nothing for at least 2-3 weeks, then only feed half-strength, once weekly, for the life of the plant ... that should keep her healthy, without nute-problems ... IF you have them in any 'nutrient-added' or 'time-release' type soils, do NOT feed at all, during the growing, vegetative stage of life ... those type of soils are usually well-dosed with the frist two months worth of nitrogen ... after the flower phase kicks in, use your Bloom-type nutes, and an occasional dose of molasses, you should be in good shape ... it's always easier to feed more, for a need, than to try cleaning up an over-fertilized condition ... :smokin:

The Nirvana strain catalogue has some of that information available for each of their personal strains. I don't know if that applies to the same strains from other companies or not, but it's free to download from their website so check it out if you're interested.

Thank you for your replies. Funny you should say that about the WW. I have 1 in there now w/ some generics and the WW is the smallest. I had just drop my ppm yesterday when I switched systems b/c ppm were getting into the 1500's; now they are around 1000-1100. Hopefully she will react positive.
