Sorry dude..but what's a whip vaporizer? is that the pipe tube part thingy? :P I just started smoking like 2 months ago.

Anyway, yes, the whip is the tube thingy. There is "smoking," which means to set the herb on fire; and there is "vaporizing." The idea here is to heat the herb until the stuff inside the herb turns to gas and lifts off before the plant material actually burns. When you vaporize, you get a volume of gas that isn't smoke. How do you ingest it?

Some vaporizers fill a bag full of vapor and air, and other vaporizers provide a tube from which you can breathe. The tube is called a "whip." The tube itself is some kind of plastic tubing, but at the end, there should be a glass part that connects to the vaporizer. At the other end of the tubing, there may be a glass mouthpiece.

Don't over-think it, though. A vaporizer is just a low-temperature pipe.
