i don't think its legal over there its more tolerated than legal (don't believe everything you read on the internet)

I have been told by my Spanish friends that its is not legal to get cannabis, however in Spain they say what you do in your own home is your own business.. Only if you are being over the top with your grow or walking around on the street with a spliff.. will you have problems.

Not even, man. My cousin lives in Spain (Barcelona) and she says that if you go to the park there's always a bunch of people smoking. She said you can bum a joint off someone like you would a cig over here. If anyone sees a cop coming, they just leave and it's no problem. I wish I had smoked weed when I lived in Spain when I was 12. It's really fun going back there and going to clubs and shit though.

I went to spain earlier this summer for a couple weeks. Like some people were saying, its not completely legal just kind of tolerated a little bit. I was able to buy hash from people on one of Barcelona's busiest pedestrian streets (calle de las ramblas) easily. There's dealers everywhere. And when i bought the hash from the dude there were cops like not even 20 feet away behind this building and the dude didnt really care. I love that country and think im gonna live there someday.

It classes the UK as "Illegal but often unenforced", but the police really don't take that attitude. You get caught with cannabis, and 95% of the time the police will do everything they can to make it a notch on there arrested tally.
