Nobody should fuck with animals. Nobody! He should go to jail and never play football again. Aside from that I really don't care! He's a scumbag in my book. How can anyone show their face in public after torturing animals in such a sadistic way??? I'm no lover of dogs, but I'd NEVER hurt one and I can't stand to see any animal abused.

Oh yeah and that whole "race" thing is a load of shit. I don't care if he's black, white, whatever. He did the crime, he should do the time!

Yeah, I think he is pretty screwed. He's lost everything that was left on his $130 million contract. He's lost all his endorsements. He's probably going to prison. He will probably never play in the NFL again. He *did* get paid a couple-few of those years on that $130 million contract though, so he will still be rich the rest of his life, once he gets out of prison. But this dogfighting incident, in the long run, will probably end up having cost him a quarter of a *billion* dollars.

Michael Vick is getting everything he deserved. What he did is beyond cruel.

I too think he is guilty and is a disgrace to the APBT. It is people like him that give this breed and their heritage a bad rep.

Many people have a warped view of dog fighting due to people without knowlage and respect for for the dogs.

Originaly, dog fighting was a gentlman's sport in england. Later it moved to the US. Also, in the past dog fighting had rules and regulations much like boxing: there were weight classes, if the dog refused to fight it lost, and if a dog held a winning hold for too long the dogs were seperated, then the losing dog would have to want to fight more (scratch) or was concidered a loser.

Dogs rarely fought to the death, and the handler always had the right to forfit the match and get their dog.

In closing, people bred these dogs to fight; it is hardwired into their genetics. It is our responsability to care for these anamals, and not let them be ruined by "geheto minded" people like vick with no morals or standards.
