THC and other cannabinoids are known to be anti-inflammatory and would actually be a decent treatment/prevention method for Asthma. I, too, am an asthma sufferer, and when I was younger (actually, before I started using cannabis) it was very extreme. Was actually born with it, I believe, but was diagnosed when I was one when I was rushed to the hospital because I had "stopped breathing"... But smoking ANYTHING is not good for it, believe me, because when I was SMOKING ganja, my asthma had subsided, but the smoke was agitating my bronchia, and while I didn't really have the asthma, I still ended up wheezing/being short of breath, but I can tell the difference between that and an actual asthma attack. These days I still smoke, but I only smoke when I'm not at home. At home, I either vape or digest it, and I usually digest it whenever I go to a friends house (I either prepare muffins, brownies, or green dragon to take)

but yeah.

edit: Forgot to mention that using JUST cannabis would be pretty stupid when you have an asthma attack. I think it'd be a safe preventative, but not treatment for an attack. Sort of like Advair or something, but all natural.
Unknownfigure Reviewed by Unknownfigure on . Asthma and Marijuana I have had asthma since I was 10 and even though it hasn't prevented me from doing sports or be in the Army, I was curious as to how smoking medical marijuana help treat or relieve symptoms of asthma. From personal experience I have smoked marijuana while being short of breath, and after a few hits I could breath normally, I just want to know how marijuana effects asthma and would I qualify for medical marijuana?
