The only people who would be offended by the passive nature of the opening thread is somone who is more concerned with teh belif of others than their own. People with weak faith, wether it's in some god or themselves feel threatend by anything that may pose a threat to their way of life.

If religion or thinking about religion negatively impacts your mood, distract yourself. Everyone gets very serious when talking about the nature of reality/god/love/life. But in the end, do you really want ANY subject in life not to have a level of perception that says you can laugh at all of it? We're all here. We're all making the best of it.
