Insects Problem, need help
Hey Everyone
I have my first grow going inside(bag seed). Very excited with the results that I am having. Especially since it was originally an outdoor grow to start with, but then there complications with the girlfriend being paranoid. She kept bringing them inside to the basement, so I just kept them down there, got some lights and started an indoor grow. Which they took the transition very well.
Well....I think when I brought the plants indoors I also brought some insects(like nats or something), they are small little bugs that just seem to multiply constantly. Is there any way to get rid of these guys. I thought about fly tape or (LOL) sucking them up with my dry-vac.
So has anyone else have or had this problem, and what did you do to resovle the problem?IgetSoFunky Reviewed by IgetSoFunky on . try one of those hotshot no pest strips they kill many flying insects.....not sure how big your space is so you may need more than one.
if it gets really bad, like out of control you can use a Pyrethrum Fogger....

Insects Problem, need help
Yeah I recently was having this problem. At walmart they sell these glue traps that insects crawl on they smell a little like an oreo and the next day after they were almost non existant.
Fly traps will also work. Also the gnats are attracted to the color yellow so try to get a trap that is yellow in color. To make your own traps take yellow paper and put vasoline on them or better yet cayro syrup or corn syrup (something thick ) and just lay the traps over the edge of the pot. (make sure not to touch the plant with them lol) Also leave them there for a while to catch all the new ones that hatch.
To also take extra action against them take an old spray bottle and like 2 table spoons of dish liquid in it and fill the bottle with water mix well and spray the plant. This may take a couple of times of doing. It will not hurt your plant because the water dilutes it enough.
Also I heard they don't like warm water so make the water luke warm and it will be better.
One more thing if you notice any fungus in the soil use cinnimon sprinkle over the soil and it will be all good.
Hope this helps.
