lung infections? explain. it really doesn't make much of a difference to me. no matter how clean the water is it will still reak of bong water, unless u give it the old clean up clean up everybody do ur share.

i like to see how shitty it looks, so I only change it when I the water isn't cold enough to toke up.

yeah i left my home made water bong in my car...the shit did grow fungus...it was brown like like a film over the top of it...thats after like 5 weeks though ...it smelled like i shoved a stiff in the back,

I dump my water out after every bong session, and add clean water for every new session. It makes the bong much easier to store between sessions and you don't leave that dirty bong water smell lying around somewhere. Clean water = better tasting hits.

Don't drink the bongwater. You won't get high, you'll just puke or at least feel nauseous.
