Potted or not?
When did you sow the seed?
Seeds were growing well in the ground before man started putting them in pots. People grow seeds in pots to give them an early start. You can benefit from them growing up indoors for 4-6 weeks, then when the weather gets good to plant out, your plant is ahead of the game. You can get alot more veg time which will give you more buds. The other reason we plant in pots is to avoid rough weather while they are little. We try to protect them until they get strong and can defend the outdoors for themselves. Good Luck!
