drooling

even though i've been smoking daily for almost two months, i still consider myself a novice smoker and don't feel silly asking questions, but there are some things i would feel uncomfortable asking. this is one of them.

not often, but sometimes, when i hit from a bong, after i exhale all the smoke, i get an almost uncontrollable urge to spit/drool. like my mouth fills up with saliva and it just has to drool out, although usually i spit it out. is this grotesquely grotesque phenomenon something that can be avoided? or is it just something that happens sometimes to everyone due to the mouth salivating more than usual (or something)?

yeah that happens to me a few times every now and then when i hit a blunt or take a massive bong hit and ive been smokin for goin on 8 years...especially if i have a cold or something

I get that to on some bong rips, its relatively normal.

I did that once or twice though, but the first time was after my court watch was over, I took my first bong hit in 6 months and I got fucked up. Man!

Once that happened to me and I didnt spit and I ended up coughing agian and I spit all over my self but I was smoking behind my house so I just had to change my shirt and it was all cool agian.

That happens to me constantly and its confusing to me as well.

As long as you don't drool down your pipe you should be jsut fine, I've seen 10+ year vets of smoking drool all over themselves and it's perfectly normal.

Just don't puke on yourself from taking too big of a hit and coughing too hard. I've done that before, but I was alone and outside in windy conditions so I wasn't too concerned about embarrassment or anything, it's just uncomfortable and kinda nasty.
