reaching budgets end, unfortunately. Also, I'm working with a rental house, so semi-serious improvements like painting the floor is not entirely likely, although I've been considering it. I think that what me and my roomy will do is tape up all the gaps in the styrafoam panels, and in the boards that make up the ceiling, then take a mop w/ a bleach solution and mop the walls, rafters, ceiling, and floor. Then I'll use a negative ion generator (found one on amazon that retails at most webstores for 35 or 40 at the low low price of 17.95!). This means, of course, lots of cleaning walls and what not on a regular basis, but I'm happy as long as theres not a lot of crap floating around in the air. This will also do its part in odor elimination.

This whole operation is being made more difficult by the one heavy cabinet already in the room, and the aquarium w/ the 400W MH propped up above it... I got way ahead of myself on this project; but no regrets!
sinky Reviewed by sinky on . GROW ROOM SANITATION I have this dank (excuse the negative use), dusty, dirty looking room in my unfinished basement that is my only choice for a grow room. What do I use to sanitize this room. I was considering buying an XJ-2100 UV from Surround Air. It is a negative ion generator w/ a UV germicidal lamp. Figured this device might protect against the billions of crazy mold spores that are surely coating the walls and choking the air in this room. Rating: 5
