    NOOB question?? female or male

    this is the best site i've seen to help with this question

    [url=http://www.weedfarmer.com/g2.2/main.php/male-female/[/url]

    female - can appear to have little balls but the key is that females will have delicate white-ish looking pistils that come out

    male - balls, little pods, no hairs.....chop down throw away

    only females produce buds that you want to smoke. is there a little thc in males...yea...worth it? NO! chop down throw them away before they pollinate your females.

    how early is a matter of genetics, environmental factors, etc. trust me as your plants get older, you can't miss the development of sex. just look closesly

    NOOB question?? female or male

    Best method to tell if it's a male or female: If it doesn't have any pods but has small little buds with longer hairs: it's female. Pods: male. You can usually tell the sex about two or three weeks in, if you use a microscope. If you have two grow rooms, you could take a clone from one of your base plants and flower it right away and see if it's a male or female, if you don't want to wait three weeks.

    So, I suggest you get a microscope/ magnifying glass.

    Edit: Yeah, veg is typically 18/6. Do this until the plants are a third of your desired height. After that, do 12/12, and it should shoot up the rest rather quickly.

    veg - 18-6 is fine....some do 24 but I dont prefer that.

    you dont do 12-12 until they are ready to flower or you feel like flowering.

    NOOB question?? female or male

    You were just being too lazy to look for pictures of male and female plants! Heaven knows there are a LOT of pic of female plants, and quite a few of males, on this site. The difference is pretty obvious between the two. Next time do a search! Sorry to be a drag about this. ( I had a bad day today- don't take it personal.)

    And incidentally, Weed is not God. Weed is Goddess!- Granny:hippy:
