Venting 1000 HPS Light

I am doing a closet grow and will be venting a 1000 Watt HPS light. My question is: with the venting kit and inline fan & glass will I really be able to vent the majority of the heat. Also what happens if the fan malfunctions and does not cool the light - does the bulb just break or is it a major fire hazard? Any advice is appreciated.

The whole point of cooling the lamp is to keep temps down in your grow room it wont affect the bulb if the fan breaks. And the likely hood of your fan breaking is slim to none. But there's Murphy's law........
