well i put my hand above the plant and still feel heat why exactly am i seeing those little brown dots and another leaf has a shribbled tip

are you feeding her a fertalizer? If so it is too early. She looks a bit fert burned. She is not getting enough light, and you are over watering her. water once, then when the soil is dry water again. Are ph balancing your water? There is a lot of info needed to help you out, but I think the person that stated you need to get the light closer was right. If it is a CFL bulb, you can indeed position it pretty darn close (inches) from the plant without hurting it.

i just moved it away from the plant recently it was inches away and it was drooping and burning it is now one foot away not two sorry i do water it once then when the soil is dry i water again i dont have a ph balance or measuring kit

im using a 24hour light cycle what do you prefer and i am also not using any fertilizers i used seltzer water that is why i think its burning or was and why is it still growing if there is not enough light...? what do you recomend i do about a bigger pot how soon should i transplant the plant is 3 weeks old tomorrow

spraying it with the water and leaving the light on it after also might have caused the burns. if you are foiliar feeding it do it right before you turn off the lights. i dont know how your cfl was burning it, mine have actually grew right to the bulb and touched it without getting burnt.

Cannabis does not need any darkness during veg. That is a myth. Your *environment* may need the 6 hours of downtime, usually due to inadequate ventilation, to provide some time to cool down, but the plants do not. 24 hours of energy beamed at them during veg just makes them grow faster. If you don't like the speed at which they grow and wish to slow them down, or your ventilation/temps are inadequate to handle 24-hour lighting, then 18/6 makes sense.

As far as transplanting goes, I usually don't transplant until after I know the sex. Why waste growing media/soil on a male? When you do ultimately transplant, get some Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, and use that in the new pot. I wouldn't use Miracle Gro ever again. I tried it once, had some probs. It doesn't even *look* like healthy soil, especially when you compare it to Ocean Forest, which is just the most awesome soil I have ever seen.

well now that i've stopped spraying it about 2 weeks ago why are little brown spots showing up

I've seen little brown spots resulting from heat stress. Happened last year when the power went out for 3 days, during 100-degree weather, poor plants suffered mightily.

my plants had something like that going on and it was low nitrogen. i got some fox farm grow formula and that cleared the problem up. If it was damage due to the lights wouldnt it be on the top leaves? i thought it was the lights too but it was just low nitrogen.
