Top 100 Rock-N-Roll Bands of all Time

Over the next week or so I will be compiling my favorite all time bands in order from 100 to 1.Please feel free to give me some feedback as to how far off or how right on I am with my picks.I,m going to be doing this on my internet radio show in the next month or so,with me playing 5 selections of music from each band after their announced,100-20.From 20 to 1 I,ll be playing 10 or more songs from my selections.Keep in mind,Rock-N-Roll is a big umbrella,so don,t be surprised when you see The Misfits on my list along with Crosby Stills and Nash.Its just not feasible to break down all categories of Rock-N-Roll(Punk,Heavy Metal,Glam,Hardcore,etc.etc....)so I,m lumping them all together.So ..everyday I,ll post 10 bands here starting from 100.I,ll start tommorow.So...all my brothers and sisters of the green....be Kind and not mean.

What is the criteria that puts them in the top 100 tho? How much weight are you placing judging on popularity, technical skill, song writing, your personal favorites? It's all relative.

100.Montrose-There on this list srictly cause Bad motor scooter is one of my favorite songs.

99.Humble Pie-A young Peter Frampton on lead guitar.Solid band.

98.Bad Brains-Ska-Punk pioneers!
97.KISS-Now before you start screaming at me that this is one of the all time most sucessful bands,for me KISS was more about the theatrics than the music.But,I do like a handful of their songs so i put em on the list.
96.Styx-sing along feel good tunes,good live band(seen em 4 times)
95.Sacred Reich-SURF NICARUGUA!!!!!
94.Little Feat-Lowell George....what more can I say(If these guys had been around longer they,d be higher on the list.
93.Testament-kick ass metal(Trial by fire is an awesome tune.)
92.Molly Hatchet-good ol boy southern rock(excellent muscians)
91.Uriah Heap-Stealin is one of my favorite songs.
90.Steve Miller Band-Lotta hits-good tunes.I,m a joker ,i,m a smoker,i,m a midnight toker:jointsmile:

So far your list is failing.

If you want to be taken seriously, you have to answer THCbongman's question. Plus, if you're going to be so bold as to say that KISS and Styx, out of all the billions of musicians and bands that have ever been, are within the top 100 of any musical list aside from failures, we'll need more detailed answers on why.

korn, metallica, lynard skynard, and ozzy, rhcp, pink floyd are a must as far as im concerned..not sure about the first 10 selected but look forward to the rest
