I agree it would not be worth the risk to worry about the male, however there are only *two* viable plants. The male and female. Thus, even a "lame ass" smoke is better than nothing at all - even if it is only a placebo effect. And I know some friends who have done this for awhile (and I have had experience with what good homegrown bud is like), so I know you are completely right in saying I will giggle about thinking of smoking males; but I'm trying to make the best of what's around.

As for light / space - these are outdoor plants - the supply of light and space is not a factor.

When only working with two plants, the situation of time, energy, and risk is nothing compared to that of someone working a Sea of Green or similar setup. Just thought some background on the situation might make things more clear. Consider that there are only two left; one is known genetics, the other is from street brickweed. The one with known genetics came from a Cannabis Cup winning strain (a Haze variety from Green House Seed Co. :thumbsup turned female, so many blessings have been counted on that (should be some serious dankness from her). It would have really sucked if both of them turned out to be male.
