GENTLY, bend it down
lol or snap the branch in half and let it heal up, it will do so without losing much growth.

in half meaning so it bends over but is still attached, dont rip the branch off the plant.

topping is basically cutting some of the top off to make the sides grow more, i dont think its advisable if you started flowering but i aint sure... :S
